When you’re ready to install cruise control in your 2010 Dodge Ram or Dodge Dakota, purchase a complete kit from The Cruise Control Kit. Our aftermarket kits, such as the 205-9001 or the 250-9008, contain everything you need to either install the feature yourself or have it done professionally. If you want to do it yourself, you’ll have help from both an instructional video as well as our professional technicians, who can answer any questions you may have.
The Installation Process
Installing the 205-9001 is easier than you might think. We’re happy to provide not only a complete instruction list and an instructional video that can help show you what needs to be done, but you’ll also be able to contact our professional technicians, who will be able to help you through the installation process.
Cruise Control Installation Instructions:
- Disconnect the battery, then turn the wheel to access two 10mm nuts on the back side of the wheel.
- Remove those, then pull the hornpad/airbag forward, but do not disconnect it.
- Remove the switch cover, and pop off the original equipment cruise switch wiring.
- Plug in the right side switches from the kit, then set it in its place and screw it back into place.
- Repeat the procedure on the left side.
- Put everything back in place, then secure it from behind with the 10mm nuts that you removed in step 1.
