Locating the vehicle speed sensor, or VSS, in your 2007, 2008, 2009, or 2010 Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra may be easier than you think. At The Cruise Control Store, we’re proud to offer complete aftermarket kits, complete with VSS, that contain everything you need to either install the feature on your own, or take it to an autoshop and have a professional technician install it. We offer the VSS and other miscellaneous cruise control parts, and should you choose to do the installations yourself, we can offer help from our professional technicians.
The Location Process
Locating the VSS in your Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra may be easier than you think. At The Cruise Control Store, we are proud to not only offer you help from our staff, but also an instructional video. In the video, you’ll learn what you need to do to install the feature. It’s a relatively quick procedure, too—what’s not to love about that?
VSS Location Instructions:
- Get VSS from junction block to the left of the foot brake
- Take the cover off
- Depress clips on the top and tip unit forward, popping it off its axis
- On the bottom of unit, above the green and orange plugs, there is a long black plug.
- In the middle of long black plug, locate green with white wire. This is the VSS.
The Cruise Control Store is proud to offer replacement VSS for a wide range of different makes and models, and we’ve done so for over 25 years. Our goal is to make sure each of our customers is completely satisfied with their purchase, and we’ll do everything we can to ensure that.
