Could not mount to the steering column
I have a 2011 Silverado 2500 HD WT with tilt steering. There was no area within the steering column to mount the unit so that it could be seen. I ended up using velcro and mounted the unit under the head light switch. The unit does work fine. **** The switch itself only has 3 buttons, so we do not put too much stress on trying to view it through the steering wheel. After operating the kit for a few days, it is easy to operate it by feel, without having to see the writing on the stalk ****
