Control Kit: 2004 Ford Econoline Van
Some electrical and low voltage experience and was able to install this kit over a couple of hours on two different days. I could now install another in less than three hours. Works great, saving my legs from pressing the pedal all the time on longer trips. Support was good the one time I emailed and had a fast response. Helps to use pics when asking questions.

This Kit Works
If this is your first time installing this product, as it was for me, Trust Me read the instructions completely before you begin. I took my time with the project. Installed the servo unit in the engine bay on Friday and the in control unit and cab wiring on Saturday. The instructions are absolutely correct, at least for my install, and I had no trouble locating correct signal leads to get the system up and running. I did call Mike, on the technical help line, just to verify some connections on a factory plug in the engine compartment. Mike is a wizard ! It is obvious when conversing with him that he has installed this thing in many vehicles before so he's not blowing smoke at you. I decided to get the VSS and Tachometer inputs directly off the PCM harness in the engine compartment. the included instructions put me in the correct pins, even the wire colors matched. Clean the wires when identifying by color inly. I had a white wire with pink trace look like orange with brown trace until it was cleaned. I had some doubts about the servos ability to pull the throttle body linkage at such a shallow angle, angst a real hefty return spring, but the system works just fine so far. I couldn't find a good place to put the control pod on the steering column. No matter where it was held it was either hard to reach or interfered with the turn signal / light / wiper lever or was hidden by the steering wheel. So as I was driving around holding the thing in my right hand I realized I could just mount it to the dash with some industrial Velcro. Problem Solved. By the way, the system worked the first time I powered it up. I still need to make a couple of sensitivity and timing adjustments, info is in the excellent instructions, but it works great with initial base settings. The kit has a 36 month warranty, but I have lost track of my receipt, so I hope the servo is tough enough to keep pulling the throttle. This was a lot of fun to install and a very complete kit.
